This Old House.

I’ll just let the title speak for itself on this photo. The old farmstead is located in Elkton, VA.

Writer, marketer, columnist, author, photographer, birder, walker, hiker, husband, father, grandfather, brother, son, township trustee, converted Anabaptist, community activist, my life is crammed with all things people and nature and wonder. My late father gave me this penchant for giving and getting the most out of life, my late mother the courtesy, kindness, and creativity to see the joy in life. They both taught me to cherish the people I am with. I try and fail and try again.

  1. What a cool looking old house. If only its walls could talk, what tales it could tell.
Imagine all the lives that where lived there and perhaps even a few that died there. It looks a bit lonely and sad, doesn’t it.

    1. Thanks, Pamela. Yes, I thought the same things, all the stories and people that lived there, how alive it must have been in its glory, and now so still and silent.
